Qigong & Qi

Qigong, also written Chigong (also Qi Gong or Chi Gong), is an essential practice of Dao. Through this practice one may achieve inner peace by becoming aware of Qi, the vital energy that pervades everything. Gong means accumulation. Thus, Qigong refers to the accumulation of Qi through practice.

Qigong has a history of three thousand years. It has been used as a medical treatment, health protection, spiritual practice and as martial art training. Hua Gong is a style of Qigong that emphasises healing and artistic expression.

Qi

Qi (pronounced 'chee' and also written, Chi ) is the vital subtle energy that gives us life and connects us to the Universe. The way of Qigong is to awaken and cultivate the Qi to prevent or conquer illness, to improve physical and mental health, and to realise our inner potential, creativity and higher intelligence.
