Celebrating 20 Years of Chinese Heritage in the UK
Chinese Heritage was established 20 years ago in the UK by Zhixing and Zhendi, one year after they commenced publicly teaching the Hua Gong System which they developed through their own practice.
Hua Gong is a unique style of Qigong based on profound Qi transmission in which energy and information can be passed to another through some well designed methods. It is a method rooted in the ancient Chinese tradition and is well adapted for the western practitioner.
Ever since Zhixing and Zhendi have used the name of Chinese Heritage and Hua Gong to teach Qigong throughout Europe and some parts of North America. Thousands of people in the west have benefited by practising Hua Gong so far, either by attending classes given by Zhixing and Zhendi directly, or by classes given by the students of Hua Gong; some people simply receive the Hua Gong transmission and energy through the video tapes, CDs or DVDs of Hua Gong; and the families and friends of Hua Gong practitioners also have received Hua Gong transmission and healing through those who have attended Hua Gong classes.
Over the years Hua Gong has healed and inspired so many people and has brought more quality and enjoyment to people’s lives through the works of Sword, Calligraphy, Green Tea etc, and through the rejuvenating effects of the practice. Practitioners have not only benefited from Hua Gong but also developed a Hua Gong community where fellow practitioners become an important part of their friendship circle.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Chinese Heritage and Hua Gong, Chinese Heritage Institute will host a gathering at the end of August, 2009, the bank holiday weekend, at Fawley Court, Henley –on-Thames, England.
Fawley Court is a conference retreat centre, set in beautiful natural grounds which has been used constantly for hosting Hua Gong retreats since 1990. Because it is in the process of being sold, this may be the last time we are able to use this wonderful location to hold our celebratory gathering.
This letter is being sent to all Hua Gong practitioners and intended practitioners. On behalf of Zhixing and Zhendi---you are invited to join our Gala Gathering weekend; please bring your family and your friends with you; we will have a most memorable three days together and reconnect with Hua Gong friends from all around the world. There will also be the opportunity to meet with some of the greatest Qigong masters from China and to receive further Blessings, Initiations and Transmissions.
This gathering certainly will mark a new milestone in our organisation, and also in our own Hua Gong practice.
